Dan Boneh

Professor of Computer Science

Dr. Boneh is a Professor of Computer Science at Stanford University where he heads the applied cryptography group. Dr. Boneh’s research focuses on applications of cryptography to computer security. His work includes cryptosystems with novel properties, security for mobile devices, web security, and cryptanalysis. He is the author of over a hundred publications in the field and is a recipient of the Godel prize, the Packard Award, the Alfred P. Sloan Award, the RSA award in mathematics and five best paper awards. In 2011 Dr. Boneh received the Ishii award for industry education innovation.

Jason Chan is the former Vice President of Security at Netflix, Inc. During his previous role, Jason was in charge of application, infrastructure, and operational security for the Netflix streaming video service.

Prior to Netflix, Jason led the information security team at VMware, focusing on several areas including Cloud security and scalability. Jason’s early security career was spent in research firms such as @stake, Inc. and iSEC Partners, where he worked with Fortune 500 clients.

Brad Arkin is SVP and Chief Security and Trust Officer. Arkin's team's core mission is to ensure Cisco meets its security and privacy obligations to its customers, regulators, employees, and stakeholders. Before joining Cisco, Arkin was Chief Security Officer at Adobe and has held management positions at @Stake and Cigital. He is a respected industry thought leader and serves on the RSA Executive Security Action Forum Program Committee. Arkin holds a bachelor of science in computer science and mathematics from the College of William and Mary, a master of science in computer science from George Washington University, and a master of business administration from Columbia University and London Business School.

Fares Alraie is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Anaplan. Prior to Anaplan, Fares was CISO at Mattel where he oversaw a global security team responsible for securing information assets across 4 continents worldwide. Fares was also CISO of product management at Vituity. Prior to this position, he was Head of Product Security and Assurance at Visa where he led a global security team responsible for Visa’s product security portfolio, including security integration for Apple Pay and VisaNet.  He also served as a technical security specialist for Royal Bank of Canada.  Fares serves on advisory boards for several security companies.

Jim Routh is an advisor and supporter of security innovations coming out of early stage companies and startups. From 2019-2020, Jim Routh was the Chief Information Security Officer at MassMutual. Prior to MassMutual, Routh was the chief security officer and led the global security function for Aetna. He was the global head of application and mobile security for JP Morgan Chase, and was the CISO for KPMG, DTCC and American Express. He has over 30 years of experience in information technology and information security as a practitioner, management consultant, and leader of technology, analytic, and information security functions. He is chairman of the NH-ISAC board and a board member of the FS-ISAC.
