Application Security Posture Management (ASPM)
Every App’s Real Risk, in One Correlated View
Data Theorem ties each app to its code, its APIs and its runtime activity, verifies what is actually exploitable, and gives every app and API a posture score, natively across the platform.
The Problem
Findings Live in Lists. Risk Lives in Apps.
Your code scanner, your mobile testing, your API testing and your runtime tools each hand you a list. Each list is accurate on its own. None of them tells you which app is actually exposed, or which findings an attacker can chain together.
Pulling those lists into one place removes duplicates. It does not prove what is exploitable. Teams end up triaging by severity label instead of real risk, and the path from code to app to API stays hidden.
Separate lists
-
Hardcoded API token High -
Token readable in app binary High -
Authorization flaw on /v2/payments/transfer High -
Vulnerable library version High -
Weak TLS configuration Medium -
Verbose error messages Medium
Same severity labels. No idea which one opens the door.
Mobile Banking App
-
Hardcoded API token -
Token readable in app binary -
Authorization flaw on /v2/payments/transfer
One verified chain, fix this first
3 findings set aside: not reachable or not exploitable
How It Works
Correlated Natively. Verified Before It’s Scored.
Data Theorem starts from its own testing across code, app binaries and APIs, so it can verify a finding before it ever counts against your score.
- Step 01

Test
Code SAST Secure, Mobile Secure, API SecureYour repos, every app binary and your APIs are tested with full authentication. Data Theorem runs the tests itself.
- Step 02

Correlate
SAST+ and discoveryEach code finding is tied to the app or API result that confirms it, and discovery maps which apps call which APIs.
- Step 03
Verify
AI ExploitsFindings are chained across code, app and API to show which paths are actually exploitable.
- Step 04

Score
Posture score with runtimeEvery app and every API gets a posture score, with runtime activity from Mobile Protect and API Secure layered on.
Two Ways In
Start From the App, or Start From the API
Pick an app and see its repo, its APIs and its runtime activity together. Pick an API and see every app that calls it, so one flaw on one API shows up as risk on every app it touches.
-
Binary tested on every release -
SAST finding verified by DAST -
Protected at runtime in the app
-
Authorization flaw verified by API Secure -
AI Exploits chained it to 2 apps -
Live probing seen at runtime

Know What’s Under Attack Right Now
Posture is not only what you shipped. Mobile Protect reports attacks against the app on real devices, and API Secure watches live traffic to your APIs and tells your WAF what to block.
Those signals land on the same app and API as the findings they relate to. When a live probe lines up with a verified chain, you know exactly what to fix first.
Mobile Banking App
Live- 09:14
Jailbreak detected on a device Blocked in the app Blocked - 09:21
Hooking attempt on the payments screen Blocked in the app Blocked - 10:02
Probing on POST /v2/payments/transfer Block rule sent to your WAF Blocked - 10:03
Probe matches a verified chain Code to app to API path from AI Exploits Fix first
Mobile Banking App
-
POST /v2/payments/transfer 41 -
GET /v1/accounts 86 -
POST /v1/auth/session 74
The Posture Score
What Goes Into the Score
One number for every app and every API, built from what Data Theorem has verified rather than a raw count of findings. When a fix ships or a new attack appears, the score moves.
- Verified findings Open vulnerabilities and critical issues, confirmed by Data Theorem’s own testing.
- Exploitability Findings that AI Exploits chains into a working path rank above isolated ones.
- Connected APIs The APIs each app calls, and the open issues on each of them.
- Protection in place Whether Mobile Protect is in the app and the APIs are monitored at runtime.
- Runtime activity Attacks seen and blocked against the app and its APIs.
You asked:Which apps have an exploitable chain and no runtime protection?
AppSec Agent answered:Two apps. Both share the verified chain through POST /v2/payments/transfer, and neither has Mobile Protect yet. Fix guidance for the code finding is ready.
- Rewards App, Android 54
- Card Controls App, iOS 61
- What changed in this app’s score this week?
- Which APIs does the Android app call?
- Show runtime attacks on /v2/payments/transfer
AppSec Agent
Ask Your Posture a Question
AppSec Agent works across your findings and your runtime data in the portal. The people who own an app get straight answers in plain language, without building a report or stitching exports together.

The Products Behind the View
ASPM is a capability of the Data Theorem platform, not a separate tool. Each product you run adds its own testing and runtime data to the same view.
-
Mobile Secure Tests every mobile app binary, fully authenticated.
